The Salisbury Council have published a great list of activities to keep the kids occupied during these winter holidays. Events are running between Monday 5th and Friday 16th July, 2010, and include some great activities like netball clinics, roller skating, Sesame Street story telling, basketball, chess, mini masterchef, and hip hop dance, just to name a few.

Wednesday and Saturday the St Kilda Tramway Museum is open, so why not take the kids for a short drive out there for the afternoon.

Also on Wednesday 7th July is the HEAL OPAL Family Day. This event is the promotion of HEAL (Healthy Eating and Active Living) and OPAL (Obesity Prevention And Lifestyle) initiatives, including kid and family friendly activities, games, tastings, displays & giveaways. It will be held at the Morella Community Centre, 90 Kings Road, Parafield Gardens from 11:00am.
